Abdullah Al Saidi

Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi is an Omani politician and legal scholar who has served as the Minister of Legal Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman since March 7, 2011. Prior to his current ministerial appointment, he was a practicing advocate and served two terms as a member of the Shura Council of Oman between 1991 and 1997. Dr. Al Saidi holds a PhD in Law from Queen Mary, University of London, which he earned in 2004. In addition to his government duties, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Charitable Organization.
