Abu Bakar Jamalia is an Indonesian politician serving as a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) representing Jambi province, having previously held office from 2014 to 2019 and returning for the 2024–2029 term. Earlier in his political career, he served as a member of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) for West Tanjung Jabung Regency from 1999 to 2004. In addition to his legislative work, he has been active in various local and community organizations in Jambi.
