A member of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), he has held various regional offices throughout his career, including serving as the Deputy Mayor of Bogor from 2009 to 2014 and as the Deputy Speaker of the West Java Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) from 2019 to 2024.
