Adewunmi Onanuga

Adewunmi Onanuga was a Nigerian politician and businesswoman who served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency in Ogun State. A member of the All Progressives Congress, she was first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023. During her tenure, she held significant leadership roles, including Deputy Chief Whip of the House and Chairperson of the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development. Known for her grassroots mobilization and advocacy for women's empowerment, she remained active in the legislature until her passing on January 15, 2025.
