Adrian Asiedu Boafo is an American politician serving as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for the 23rd district since 2023. Born in Arlington, Virginia, to Ghanaian immigrant parents, he previously served on the Bowie City Council, where he was the city's youngest mayor pro tempore. A graduate of the University of Baltimore and American University, Boafo has worked as a federal lobbyist for Oracle Corporation and as a campaign manager for Steny Hoyer. Politically, he advocates for technological literacy, increased minimum wage, and healthcare reform, and he is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 5th congressional district for the 2026 election.
