Ajanta Neog is an Indian politician serving as the Minister of Finance and Women and Child Development in the Government of Assam. A long-serving legislator representing the Golaghat Assembly constituency since 2001, she is the first woman Finance Minister of Assam. Initially a member of the Indian National Congress, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in December 2020 and has continued to secure consecutive electoral victories.
