Akbaruddin Owaisi

Akbaruddin Owaisi is an Indian politician and leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party in Telangana. He has served as a Member of the Telangana Legislative Assembly representing the Chandrayangutta constituency since 1999, winning his sixth consecutive term in the 2023 state election. In addition to his legislative career, he has held key leadership roles including floor leader and Chairman of the Telangana Public Accounts Committee, alongside his philanthropic involvement in educational and community trusts.
