Alain Milon

Alain Milon is a French politician and physician who has served as a Senator for the Vaucluse department since 2004. A member of The Republicans, he previously served as the mayor of Sorgues from 1989 to 2010 and held various regional leadership roles. Throughout his political career, Milon has been noted for his progressive stances on social issues, including his support for same-sex marriage, medically assisted reproduction, and surrogacy. He continues to serve as an adjoint to the mayor of Sorgues and as president of the Syndicat mixte du Bassin de vie d'Avignon.
