Aleksander Miszalski

Aleksander Miszalski is a Polish politician, entrepreneur, and former local government official who served as the Mayor of Kraków from May 2024 until his removal from office in May 2026. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he was a member of the Sejm for the IX and X terms, representing the Civic Coalition. An economist and sociologist by education, he was active in local politics as a city councilor in Kraków and held leadership roles within the Civic Platform party in the Lesser Poland region. His term as mayor ended following a local referendum in which voters supported his recall due to concerns over municipal policies, including public transport costs and urban planning.
