Alessandra Maiorino

Alessandra Maiorino is an Italian politician serving as a member of the Senate of the Republic since 2018. A member of the Five Star Movement, she has held various leadership roles within the party's parliamentary group, including vice-chair. Maiorino is a vocal advocate for civil rights and gender equality, notably coordinating the party's committee on these issues and authoring legislation aimed at combating homophobia and promoting marriage equality. Before her political career, she worked as a teacher in Italy, Germany, and Qatar.
