Alexander Kops is a Dutch politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Party for Freedom (PVV) since 2017. Before his tenure in the House, he served in the Senate from 2014 to 2017 and was a member of the Provincial Council of Gelderland. A former German language teacher, Kops has focused his parliamentary work on portfolios including education, social affairs, housing, energy, climate, and medical ethics. He is also an author who published a poetry collection in 2015.
