Alfredo Lozoya Santillán

Alfredo Lozoya Santillán is a Mexican businessman and politician currently serving as a federal deputy in the LXVI Legislature of the Mexican Congress. Known by the nickname 'El Caballo', he previously served as the municipal president of Hidalgo del Parral, where he was elected as an independent candidate in 2016 and re-elected in 2018. He later ran for governor of Chihuahua in 2021 as a candidate for the Citizens' Movement party. His career has been marked by both political success and legal controversies, including a 2022 detention in the United States and allegations regarding water infrastructure in his home state.
