Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh is a Bahraini politician who has served as the Chairman of the Consultative Council of Bahrain since December 2006. Born in 1942, he has had a long and distinguished career in public service, beginning with his membership in the constituent assembly in 1973 and the Bahrain National Assembly from 1973 to 1975. Throughout his career, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Commerce and Industry from 1995 to 2004 and Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture from 2005 to 2006. He also served as the second deputy speaker of the Consultative Council starting in 1993.
