Aliyu Aminu Garu

Aliyu Aminu Garu is a Nigerian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Bauchi Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly. A member of the Peoples Democratic Party, he assumed office in June 2023. Prior to his national legislative career, he served as the chairman of the Bauchi Local Government in the early 2000s. Garu has focused his legislative efforts on infrastructure development, including the installation of solar-powered streetlights, and has implemented various empowerment schemes for youth and women in his constituency, such as the distribution of cash and agricultural supplies.
