Altynbek Nukhuly is a Kazakh politician, chemist, and educator serving as a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan representing the Pavlodar Region since August 2020. Born in 1962 in the Pavlodar Region, he earned his degree in chemistry from the Kazakh State University and built an extensive academic and administrative career, including serving as rector of several universities and deputy chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan. In addition to his academic and legislative work, he is a doctor of chemical sciences, a professor, a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the author of numerous scientific and cultural publications.
