Amélie de Montchalin

Amélie de Montchalin is a French politician and economist who currently serves as the President of the Court of Audit. A prominent figure in the Renaissance party, she previously held several ministerial positions, including Minister for Public Action and Accounts, Minister for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, and Minister of Public Transformation and Service. Before her executive career, she was a member of the National Assembly representing Essonne and served as the French Ambassador to the OECD. Known for her expertise in finance and public policy, she began her career as an economist in the private sector at BNP Paribas and AXA before entering politics in 2016.
