Amra Ram

Amra Ram is an Indian politician and prominent peasant leader currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the Sikar constituency in the Lok Sabha. A long-time member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), he previously served four terms in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly between 1993 and 2013. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal advocate for farmers' rights, leading significant movements such as the 2017 Sikar Kisan Andolan to demand loan waivers and fair minimum support prices. Known for his grassroots activism, he has held leadership roles within the All India Kisan Sabha and remains a central figure in Rajasthan's political landscape.
