Amy Paulin

Amy Paulin is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing the 88th Assembly District since her election in 2000. Throughout her tenure, she has chaired several influential committees, including the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions, and previously led the Committee on Energy and the Committee on Libraries and Education Technology. A prominent advocate for healthcare reform, she has been a vocal supporter of the New York Health Act to establish single-payer healthcare in the state. Additionally, she successfully sponsored legislation that repealed New York's ban on paid gestational surrogacy, which was signed into law in 2021. Paulin resides in Scarsdale with her family.
