André Kuper is a German politician and the current President of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously served as the mayor of Rietberg from 1997 to 2012. Since 2012, he has represented the constituency of Gütersloh III in the state parliament. Kuper has held the presidency of the Landtag since 2017 and is known for his focus on administrative reform and historical remembrance initiatives, including his work with the Haus der Geschichte Nordrhein-Westfalen.
