Andrés Julián Rendon

Andrés Julián Rendon Cardona is a Colombian politician and public administrator currently serving as the Governor of Antioquia. Born in 1978, he began his political career as a councilor in Rionegro from 2001 to 2006, later serving as the Secretary of the Government of Rionegro between 2008 and 2011. He subsequently held the office of Mayor of Rionegro from 2016 to 2019. In 2023, he was elected as the Governor of Antioquia, representing the Democratic Center party.
