Andra Soni

Andra Soni is an Indonesian politician and businessman who has served as the 5th Governor of Banten since February 2025. Born in West Sumatra, he moved to Tangerang as a teenager and built a career in the logistics industry before entering politics. A member of the Gerindra Party, he previously served in the Banten Regional House of Representatives from 2014 to 2024, including a tenure as the legislature's speaker. His political platform has focused on expanding access to free education, including for non-public schools, to address social issues such as stunting and early marriage.
