Andrea Augello

Andrea Augello was an Italian politician, essayist, and historian who served as a member of the Senate of the Republic across several legislatures between 2006 and 2023. A prominent figure in the Italian right-wing, he was affiliated with parties including the National Alliance, The People of Freedom, and Brothers of Italy. During his career, he served as an Undersecretary of State for Public Administration and Innovation in the fourth Berlusconi government. Beyond his political activities, Augello was a noted author who published works on the history of the Allied landings in Sicily and studies on the Grail legend.
