Andrea Macías is a Chilean politician and sociologist currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies for the 27th District. A lifelong member of the Socialist Party of Chile, she previously served as the Regional Governor of Aysén from 2021 to 2024, becoming the first woman to hold that office. Earlier in her career, she was a Regional Councillor for the province of Coyhaique. She holds a degree in sociology from the University of La Frontera and has focused her political work on regionalization and environmental issues.
