Andrea Salinas is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Oregon's 6th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Oregon House of Representatives from 2017 to 2023, where she held leadership roles including majority whip and chair of the House Committee on Health Care. Salinas, who has a background as a legislative aide and lobbyist, is one of the first two Hispanic women elected to the United States Congress from Oregon. Her legislative priorities include expanding mental health services and rural telehealth access.
