Andreas Norlén

Andreas Norlén is a Swedish politician who has served as the Speaker of the Riksdag since 2018. A member of the Moderate Party, he has represented Östergötland County in the Swedish parliament since 2006. Prior to his election as Speaker, he chaired the Committee on the Constitution from 2014 to 2018. During his tenure as Speaker, Norlén has played a central role in presiding over complex government formations following general elections. He has received numerous international honours and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Linköping University in 2025.
