Andrejs Elksniņš

Andrejs Elksniņš is a Latvian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Daugavpils. Born in 1982, he began his professional career as a lawyer before entering national politics, serving as a deputy in the 12th Saeima. A long-standing member of the Social Democratic Party 'Harmony' until 2023, he has held the mayoral office of Daugavpils multiple times since 2017. In 2024, he established and became the leader of the localist political party Go, Latgale!.
