Andy Hopper

Andy Hopper is an American politician serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 64th district since 2025. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he holds degrees from Ohio University and the University of North Texas. Before his election, Hopper worked as a software engineer in the private and defense sectors and served as an adjunct professor. He has been a member of the Texas State Guard since 2014, attaining the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. In the legislature, he has focused on conservative policy initiatives, including proposals to restrict federal arrest warrants and legislation aimed at abolishing the Texas Education Agency.
