Anil Jha Vats is an Indian politician and member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly representing the Kirari Assembly constituency. He serves as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Legislative Assembly and is a three-time MLA, having previously won elections in 2008 and 2013 on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket before winning again in the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election with the Aam Aadmi Party. A former student leader who served as president of the Delhi University Students Union, he has built a long career in regional politics.
