Ann Williams

Ann Williams is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 11th district, a position she has held since 2011. An attorney by profession, she previously worked in the office of Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Throughout her tenure, Williams has focused on legislative priorities including affordable healthcare, government accountability, and environmental policy. She is a proponent of reproductive rights and was a key supporter of same-sex marriage legislation in Illinois. In 2018, she was appointed to the Powering Illinois’ Future transition committee to address infrastructure and clean energy initiatives.
