Anna Lührmann is a German political scientist and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021. Previously, she made history in 2002 by becoming the youngest-ever member of the German Parliament at age 19. Between 2021 and 2025, she served as Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office in the government of Olaf Scholz. An academic by background, she held positions at the University of Gothenburg and the V-Dem Institute, focusing her research on democratic resilience and electoral processes.
