Anna Nghipondoka

Anna Nghipondoka is a Namibian politician and member of SWAPO who serves as a Member of the National Assembly. She previously served as the Minister of Education, Arts and Culture from March 2020 to March 2025, after having worked as deputy minister in the same portfolio beginning in 2015. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished career as a teacher, school principal, director of education for Oshikoto and Omusati regions, and acting CEO for the Namibia Training Authority. She holds a Master of Education from the University of the Western Cape and degrees from the University of Fort Hare.
