Annick Jacquemet is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Doubs department since 2020. She is the first woman to hold this position in the department. Her political career began in 1995 as a municipal councillor in Saint-Vit, where she later served as first deputy mayor. She also served as a departmental councillor for the canton of Boussières and later for the canton of Saint-Vit. In addition to her legislative duties, she has been appointed to the High Council for the Financing of Social Protection.
