Antje Grothus is a German politician and environmental activist who has served as a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia since June 2022. Before entering formal politics, she worked as a nutritionist and consultant specializing in coal phase-out and sustainable structural change. A prominent advocate for the protection of the Hambacher Forest, she served on the German federal government's 'Coal Commission' in 2018. She joined Alliance 90/The Greens in 2021 and represents the Rhein-Erft-Kreis II constituency.
