Antonio Delgado is an American attorney and politician currently serving as the Lieutenant Governor of New York, a position he has held since 2022. Before his appointment to statewide office, he served as the U.S. Representative for New York's 19th congressional district from 2019 to 2022. A Rhodes Scholar and Harvard Law School graduate, Delgado previously worked in the music industry and as a litigator. He is the first person of African-American or Latino descent to be elected to Congress from Upstate New York and the first Latino to hold statewide office in New York.
