Apius Auchab

Apius Auchab is a Namibian politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 2015 and as the president of the United Democratic Front since 2013. Born in Omaruru, he previously worked as a teacher and community activist before serving as the regional councillor for the Dâures Constituency. In his political career, he stood as his party's presidential candidate in the 2019 general election and has been vocal on issues such as land reform and opposition to abortion.
