Arthur Joseph Kurup

Arthur Joseph Kurup is a Malaysian politician, lawyer, and economist who currently serves as the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. Since 2018, he has represented the Pensiangan constituency in the Dewan Rakyat and has held the position of Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Sook since 2025. As the President of the United Sabah People's Party (PBRS), he has previously served in various ministerial capacities, including as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security and Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation. Before entering politics, he worked as a trade and legal officer at the World Trade Organization in Geneva.
