Ashari Tambunan

Ashari Tambunan is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives following his election in 2024. Prior to his national legislative career, he served as the Regent of Deli Serdang in North Sumatra from 2014 to 2023. During his tenure as regent, he focused on regional development and public safety initiatives, including the establishment of a healthcare emergency call center. He resigned from his regency position in November 2023 to pursue his successful candidacy for the national parliament.
