Ashima Patra

Ashima Patra is an Indian politician serving as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly for the Dhaniakhali constituency since 2016. A member of the All India Trinamool Congress, she previously served in the Mamata Banerjee ministry between 2016 and 2021, holding various ministerial portfolios including Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, as well as roles in the departments of Planning, Statistics, Programme Monitoring, Backward Classes, and Fisheries.
