Ashley Carrick

Ashley Carrick is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Alaska House of Representatives for the 35th district. A native of Anchorage, Alaska, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a master's degree in public health from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Before entering the legislature in 2023, she worked as an educator and a legislative aide. Carrick is notable for being the first openly bisexual member of the Alaska Legislature and one of its first openly LGBTQ members. She is also active in the Future Caucus, where she focuses on bipartisan criminal justice reform.
