Ashok Gehlot

Ashok Gehlot is an Indian politician who has served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for three separate terms: 1998–2003, 2008–2013, and 2018–2023. A long-standing member of the Indian National Congress, he has represented the Sardarpura constituency in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly since 1998. Throughout his career, he has held various Union ministerial positions and served as a Member of Parliament for Jodhpur. Known for his organizational skills and political acumen, Gehlot has championed social welfare initiatives, including the Right to Health bill and various insurance schemes for farmers, while maintaining a staunch commitment to Gandhian principles.
