大島敦

Atsushi Oshima is a veteran Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, currently in his tenth term. Born in Kitamoto, Saitama, he worked for Nippon Kokan and Sony Life Insurance before entering politics. Throughout his career, he has held significant positions including State Minister of Cabinet Office and State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications. Oshima has been affiliated with several political parties, including the Democratic Party of Japan, the Democratic Party, the Party of Hope, and the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, before joining the Democratic Party for the People. He is known for his opposition to constitutional amendments regarding Article 9 and his stance against the exercise of collective self-defense.
