Balkar Singh Sidhu

Balkar Singh Sidhu is an Indian politician and Punjabi singer serving as a Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly for the Rampura Phul constituency. Born on October 10, 1971, in Bathinda district, he built a successful career in Punjabi music before entering politics and joining the Aam Aadmi Party in 2014. After electoral contests and organizational involvement, he won the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election, subsequently taking on legislative committee assignments including the Committee on Estimates and the Committee on Government Assurances.
