Bambang Pacul

Bambang Wuryanto, widely known by his nickname Bambang Pacul, is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR RI) for the 2024–2029 term. A long-standing member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), he has represented the Central Java IV electoral district in the House of Representatives (DPR RI) since 2004. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held significant leadership roles, including chairing Commission III of the DPR RI. Known for his pragmatic political style and his advocacy for the 'Korea' mentality—a concept emphasizing resilience and loyalty among grassroots political actors—he has been a prominent figure in Indonesian legislative affairs for over two decades.
