He previously served as the mayor of Włoszczowa from 2006 to 2014 and as the Deputy Voivode of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. A legal scholar with a doctorate in law from the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, he has balanced an academic career with his political duties. He was first elected to the Sejm in 2010 and has held his current parliamentary mandate since 2019.
