Profile
Basil Robert Ngui is a Kenyan politician and Member of the National Assembly representing the Yatta Constituency under the Wiper Democratic Movement party. Before entering politics, he built an extensive international career holding various roles at the United Nations, including serving with the UNHCR, FAO, UNFPA, UNICEF, and the UN Secretariat, as well as working as an assistant professor at the University of Denver. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), an MSc in Business Administration from Mzumbe University, and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi.
