Beat Züsli

Beat Züsli is a Swiss politician serving as the Mayor of Lucerne since 2016. A member of the Social Democratic Party, he previously served in the Lucerne Cantonal Council from 2015 to 2016 and in the Lucerne City Parliament from 1998 to 2009. Professionally trained as an architectural draftsman and energy engineer, Züsli has been actively involved in tenant advocacy, including serving on the board of the Swiss Tenants' Association. He continues to represent the city of Lucerne in his current mayoral capacity.
