Beata Klimek is a Polish local government official who has served as the Mayor of Ostrów Wielkopolski since 2014. She is the first woman to hold this office in the city's history. Before her election as mayor, she worked in local media and served as a press spokesperson for the Ostrów County administration. A graduate of political science from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, she previously served as a city councilor. Klimek has been recognized for her local governance, including being named one of the best city mayors in Poland by various national rankings.
