Bello Bouba Maigari

Bello Bouba Maigari is a Cameroonian statesman and long-serving political figure. Born in 1947, he served as the Prime Minister of Cameroon from 1982 to 1983. Following a period of exile, he founded the National Union for Democracy and Progress (UNDP) in 1990 and has since been a prominent opposition leader and government minister. He has held the position of Minister of State, Minister of Tourism and Leisure since 2011. Throughout his career, he has been a key participant in Cameroonian presidential elections and national legislative politics.
