Bernadette Jagger

Bernadette Jagger is a Namibian politician and member of SWAPO who has served as a member of parliament and Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism. A teacher by profession, she worked her way up from teaching in 1976 to become the Kunene Regional Director of Education in 2012 before entering national politics. She is also active in her community as a senior councillor of the Riemvasmakers community.
