Bernadus Swartbooi is a Namibian politician, leader, and founder of the Landless People's Movement (LPM). Born on October 11, 1977, he previously served as governor of the ǁKaras Region and as Namibia's deputy Minister of Land Reform until his dismissal in 2017. Following his departure from SWAPO, he established the LPM to advocate for equitable land redistribution and the return of ancestral lands. He currently serves as a Member of the National Assembly and continues to campaign actively on economic and agrarian reform issues.
